Your role as an order picker diepvries:

As an order picker at Hoogvliet, you and your colleagues ensure that our stores receive new supplies on time. You will be working closely with approximately 15 colleagues, becoming an integral part of the entire frozen products department. The order picking process is carried out using a voice-pick system. During periods of high pressure, you remain calm and work accurately. Thanks to you, the products arrive at the stores daily, on time, and undamaged.

You will be working in the most sustainable distribution centre in the world. In addition to logistics and the service centre, the butchery and bakery are also located inhouse. Hoogvliet is currently experiencing growth, which makes it a dynamic environment to work in. The location is easily accessible by public transport, bicycle or car. Furthermore, there is a reasonably priced, healthy, and fresh lunch available at the Service Centre every day.

Working hours and additional hours
Our distribution centre operates almost 24/7, but your shifts will generally be regular. Your working hours will vary, but are mostly scheduled from Monday to Friday between 06:00 – 15:00, on Saturdays from 06:00 – 16:00 and on Sundays from 05:00 – 13:00. Your schedule will depend on the expected workload. In addition to your standard salary, you are entitled to the following additions:

• Saturday between 6:00 and 18:00 - 30% addition;
• Sunday 50% addition;
• Public holidays 100% addition;
• 8% frozen product addition.

• You are a hard worker, and that is natural to you;
• You can handle working in cold temperatures, and we ensure that there are enough opportunities to warm up;
• You are reliable and capable to work independently;
• You approach tasks with a problem-solving mindset and perform well under time pressure;
• You do not mind starting early and working on weekends.
